MikeCheck: Grizzlies cut Harrison as confidence grows in Temple, Mack entering 3-game trip
The move leaves Memphis with 14 players under traditional NBA contracts and creates an open roster spot should the team seek to bolster depth up front. Harrison, 24, entered the season with $200,000 guaranteed on his $1.5 million contract, which presented the Grizzlies both roster and financial flexibility.

MikeCheck: Gasol back to work after scary fall in Sacramento, plans to play Saturday against Suns
Gasol confirmed Friday that an MRI test did not reveal any structural damage to his neck and that some of the initial soreness and stiffness have eased the past 36 hours with treatment. Marc Gasol went through practice and intends to play in Saturday’s game against the Suns.
