CJ Hurt produces “Jessica Benson Show” on Grind City Media. A military brat, CJ bounced around from Fort Bragg, NC, Bremerhaven, Germany, and Clarksville, TN before his family settled in Nashville during his late childhood years. Before joining GCM, he spent nine years working his way up through the ranks at Sports 56 WHBQ in Memphis, TN. He started as an intern for Cerrito Live, then became the show’s producer, followed by joining the Sports 56 WHBQ team as producer for Sports 56 Middays and Johnny Radio’s Happy Hour. Finally, he became the co-host of the Experience on Sports 56. CJ graduated high school from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, TN and is a proud graduate of Tuskegee University.
