The playoff committee would face a challenging decision, especially if a one-loss Alabama beats top-ranked Georgia. Would they keep out both Alabama and Georgia in favor of an undefeated Florida State and a 1-loss Texas with a win over Alabama? Would they put both in the playoffs or would only 1 SEC make it?
An argument can be made for any of those scenarios.
